For loans, a borrower must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident in an eligible state and meet relevant underwriting requirements. Your actual rate will depend on a variety of factors, including loan term, financial history, income and other factors. Rates and terms are subject to change at anytime without notice and are subject to state restrictions. Headstart Financial is not an agent of any prospective lender nor are we involved in a lender’s use or review of your application information or any decisions on terms and rates. We use private loans that have different payment options than federal loan programs. If you do not pay your loan according to its terms, you experience: LATE FEES, YOUR ACCOUNT MAY BE SENT TO A COLLECTION AGENCY, OR BE REPORTED TO A CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY WHICH MAY NEGATIVELY AFFECT YOUR CREDIT SCORE OR REQUIRE YOU TO REFINANCE OR RENEW TERMS WHICH MAY NEGATIVELY AFFECT RATES AND FEES.

As part of an initial inquiry, Headstart Financial performs a soft credit pull – this does not affect your credit score. However, if you choose a product and continue your application, we will request your full credit report from one or more consumer reporting agencies: Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax.
